Dan Ballecer

Dan Ballecer, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1991 and graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1994 where he was a Dean’s Outstanding Scholar Recipient. Dan worked as prosecutor for the City of Phoenix for almost three years before opening up his own practice with Natalee Segal in March 1998 (Ballecer & Segal, LLP), where he continues his practice to this day.

Dan restricts his practice to immigration law and criminal defense. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Dan has personally tried hundreds of criminal cases to a jury and represented thousands of clients over more than two decades of private practice. Dan has represented, and currently represents, immigration clients throughout the U.S. and the world.

Natalee Segal

Natalee Segal, also a native of Phoenix, Arizona, completed her Undergraduate degree at Occidental College in Los Angeles and returned to Arizona to attend Arizona State University School of Law.

Ms. Segal started her career as a prosecutor at the City of Phoenix and after a two year commitment, decided to start her own criminal defense practice with Dan Ballecer. While in private practice, Natalee has focused on criminal trial and appellate. Natalee has been designated as an expert on motions and special actions in major felonies and death penalty cases.

In addition, Natalee has taught at defense seminars, specifically, the Arizona Association of Criminal Justice, the Arizona Public Defender Association and at Paradise Valley Community College.
