Natalee Segal, also a native of Phoenix, Arizona, completed her Undergraduate degree at Occidental College in Los Angeles and returned to Arizona to attend Arizona State University School of Law.  

Ms. Segal  started her career as a prosecutor at the City of Phoenix and after a two year commitment, decided to start her own criminal defense practice with Dan Ballecer.  While in private practice, Natalee has focused on both trial and appellate work including 14 published opinions. Natalee has litigated hundreds of jury and bench trials all over Maricopa County. She currently holds an appellate contract in Maricopa County as well as a court appointed counsel contract in the Phoenix City Court. Natalee has served as pro-tem judge on numerous occasions in Maricopa County Superior Court for criminal matters.

In addition, Natalee has taught at defense seminars, specifically, the Arizona Association of Criminal Justice and the Arizona Public Defender Association.  Ms. Segal has been an adjunct professor since 2006 teaching several criminal law related classes at Paradise Valley Community College.
